Busbars
Originally formed in 1964 as Praills Busbars with workers from Praills Motor Group based in Holmer Road which closed in 1990. Played at the Heart of Oak on a Thursday evening until 1974 when they changed to a Friday. Changed their name to Busbars in 1985 and continued playing at the Heart of Oak until the end of season 2000/01 when they moved to the Golden Lion. Changed their name to Des's Busbars in 2019 in honour of Des Rees, a long serving player who passed away in January 2019. At the end of season 2020/21 members made a presentation to long serving Secretary Brian Thomas to mark his 50 years service. This is the longest service that we currently have on record.
